and popularity. All of the books are linked to your
library's catalog.
Search book
database... Search for a particular
book by title, author or ISBN. Once you have it, place it on a
bookshelf, see who else has the book on a shelf, request a list of
similar books or read comments left by other
readers.
See who's reading... This feature lets patrons pick a favorite book and
see who else is reading the book. They can check out the other
person's bookshelves and, in the process, discover their next good
book.

Find
similar book... Pick one of your
favorite books, then ask the program to find similar books. It
takes some fuzzy computing to accomplish this, but the results are
surprisingly good and with a little human sorting you're bound to
find another good book.
Create online
bookshelves... Finding lots of books
you want to read, but no place to store them? Just create an online
bookshelf. Create one for books you've read, another for books
you're reading and another for your all time
favorites.
Print a list of books you want to read... With a click
of their mouse, users can print out a copy of any bookshelf, then
take the list with them when they go to the library.
Award and bestseller
list... Over 50 award and bestseller
booklists (bookshelves) are maintained by our staff, plus you can add
additional lists.
Library
booklists... Librarians can
create their own online bookshelves, listing latest additions, staff picks,
books of local interest and more.
Discuss and review
books... Since 1999 we've been
collecting reader comments and more come in every day. Click on the
"Comments" link to see what other people had to say about a book or
leave your own comments. Like someone's comment, click and see what
other books they've read.
Most and recent
reviews... Periodically patrons will
want to check to see which books have the most reviews and the books
that were recently reviewed. It's a great way to find a new book,
before it shows up on a bestseller
list.
Watch
list... When patrons find someone
with interesting opinions or excellent books, they can add that
person’s bookshelves to their “watch list”. The service will
automatically alert them when a new book or comment is added.
Bookshelves can be public or
private.
