The North Shelby Library is now presenting a Brown
Bag Lunch Series. Brown Bag Lunch programs are
ongoing throughout the year and are held in the library meeting room
at 12:00 p.m. Programs typically last one hour unless
otherwise noted. Please bring your lunch, we provide the
drinks and dessert.
We value your suggestions as
we create the programming schedule for upcoming months. Please
let us know if there is a specific topic or interest that you would
like to see highlighted in a program.

• May 20th - "Alabama
Constitutional Reform" Presented by Mark Berte, the Alabama
Citizens for Constitutional Reform (ACCR) Grassroots Education
Director. This presentation will focus on various aspects of
the existing Constitution of Alabama and focus on specific areas
that highlight the need for reform. A question and answer
session will be included at the conclusion of the program. For

Adult Summer Reading:
• "Pollinate Your Mind" - Our
adult summer reading program kicks off on May 17th with a
great event featuring Keith Dunnavant, author
of The Missing Ring. By
attending this event, participants will receive two extra chances,
during any week of their choice, to win one of the weekly
prizes. For more on this year's summer reading program see
below.
Participants may read anything they
like for credit - and remember the more items you read will increase
your chances for a wonderful weekly surprise or the final grand
