This is a classic, but since it was last updated in 1993 it must be supplemented with more up-to-date information.

 

Books on the Counties

At present, there is no book designed for children specifically on the counties of the Upper Eastern Shore.

 

County histories

These can be found in the adult Maryland Collection:  the adult Maryland Collection is principally a collection of materials of historical interest. Most county histories have copyright dates from the ninteenth and early twentieth century and thus do not include recent history.  These histories are written on an adult level. When in doubt: Ask a Librarian!
