Weekly Storytimes
All storytimes are presented in the Children’s Pavilion and craft activities take place in the Baron Project Room immediately afterward. There is no pre-registration.

Preschool Storytime & Craft
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Preschool storytimes are geared towards children ages 3 to 5 who can sit and listen to short stories, and participate in simple songs and rhymes. There is no registration required for this program. A craft activity immediately follows storytime, and is limited to 16 children on a first-come, first-served basis. No large groups, please (5 or more). Storytime is presented in the Children's Pavilion, and the craft activity takes place in the Project Room. |

Tales for Twos
Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.
An exciting storytime for your two-year-old and you. Join us for stories, songs and fun. No groups, please. There is no registration required for this program. For more information, call 720-865-1306. A craft activity immediately follows storytime, where two-year-olds can explore the fun world of art and learn various craft techniques. |

Book Babies
Book Babies I: Pre-Walkers,
Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
(Recommended for lap babies at least 6 months old)
Book Babies II: Early Walkers,
Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
(Recommended for walkers up to 23 months)
Stories, songs, and games for babies and their parents or caregivers. Adult participation required, one baby per adult (multiples okay) and no groups, please. Playtime and socialization immediately follow the program in the Children’s Pavilion.

HawkQuest: Birds of Prey
See a live hawk at the Library! HawkQuest will bring in a falcon, a hawk and other birds of prey. Representatives will tell us all about these interesting and beautiful creatures. Presented in the Level B2 Conference Room.
Saturday, July 19, 2 p.m.
Canyon Critters
Join us for an exciting hands-on exploration of live critters. Come see, touch and learn about snakes, lizards and spiders! All ages are welcome. Presented in the Children’s Pavilion.
Saturday, July 26, 2 p.m.
Doc Murdock’s Magical Delights
Magician, comedian and ventriloquist Doc Murdock will astound you with tricks, puzzles and humor! This program will please, baffle and entertain the curious of all ages. Presented in the Children’s Pavilion.

Read books, win prizes! For any kid from newborns up to those entering 5th grade in Fall
2008. Register online or at any Denver Public Library branch from May 29 - July 31. Kids do not need to be
present to register, but must be present to pick up prizes. Be sure to pick up your prizes by August 16. Write a book review for a chance to win a Target gift card!
