  • Discuss books with other people. Find a favorite book or look up one you're reading right now and see what other people think of the book. Leave your own comments, a few sentences to help the next reader decide if a book is a good match for them. Over six million books to choose from.

Over six million books to choose from.

  • Build online bookshelves.  Keep track of what you're reading with virtual bookshelves. You can create shelves for books you've read, books you plan to read, even books you didn't finish. If you have a hobby or an area of expertise, you can create a special interest bookshelf and share it with other readers.

  • Share your favorite books. Your virtual bookshelves can be private or public. If they're public, other readers can view them and grab books off one of your shelves and add it to one of their own.
  • See who's reading a book. Curious to see if someone else is reading your favorite book? Just click on the "Who's Reading" link to find out. Then see what else they're reading. You might discover a good book.
  • Book discovery tools. Click on the "Suggest" link and we'll try to show you books similar to the one you're looking at. Click on the "Author" link and we'll show you other books by that author. Or browse subject categories, award winning books, and the books featured in our Online Book Clubs.

All of these reader services are available for free to our registered borrowers.
